Cleanliness Before Powder Coating
With a focus on commercial, industrial and performance applications, we understand how your components are required to perform and what coating system will fulfill that need. As a rule, these components require the cleanest surface possible before they are coated. Our in-house cleaning and abrasive blasting system ensure metal surfaces easily bond and adhere with the powder coating.
For cleaning and sandblasting steel we follow the SSPC (Society for Protective Coatings), which covers most metals that are being coated. For aluminum we follow the American Architectural manufacturers Association’s AAMA 2605 specifications. Aegis is an AkzoNobel approved architectural powder coating applicator.
